A DRINK-DRIVER has been told to pay £450 and banned from driving for a year.

Maurice Redpath admitted driving an MG ZR in Bittern Close, Gosport, while over the legal alcohol limit. A test revealed the 40-year-old’s breath contained 54 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

Redpath, of Bittern Close, Gosport, was fined £350 and ordered to pay £100 costs by Fareham magistrates.
