DRINK-DRIVER Charlotte Knowles has been banned from the roads.

Knowles, 20, admitted driving a vehicle in Alec Rose Lane, Landport, Portsmouth, while over the limit.

A test revealed her breath contained 71 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres – more than twice the legal limit of 35mcg per 100ml of breath.

Knowles, of Granada Road, Southsea, was fined £200 and told to pay £15 to crime victims and £85 in court costs by Portsmouth magistrates.

She was banned from driving for 20 months.
