A DRINK-DRIVER was caught behind the wheel without a valid licence or insurance.

Zak Kamabi, 38, of Copnor Road, Portsmouth, admitted committing the offences in New Road East, Portsmouth, on September 4. A test revealed his breath contained 85 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 35mcg.

Kamabi was fined £80 and told to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 in court costs.

He was banned from driving for 42 months and fined £100 by Portsmouth magistrates.
