MOTORIST Scott Benneyworth admitted driving while more than twice the legal alcohol limit.

Benneyworth, 26, of Leominster Road, Paulsgrove, committed the crime while driving a Vauxhall Insignia in Southampton Road, Portsmouth. A test revealed his breath contained 85 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 35 mcg.

He was told to pay £400 and banned from driving for 20 months by Portsmouth magistrates.
