DRINK-DRIVER Barry McGee was caught behind the wheel without insurance.

McGee, 36, of Hilsea Crescent, Portsmouth, admitted committing the offences while driving a Transit in Portsmouth.

A test revealed his breath contained 81 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.

The legal limit is 35mcg.

McGee was fined £600.

He was banned from driving for 18 months and told to pay a £40 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
