Drink-driver triple the limit

A WOMAN has been banned from driving after being caught more than three times the drink-drive limit.

Angela Vince, 50, appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court and pleaded guilty to drink-driving.

Vince, of Fathoms Reach, Hayling Island, was banned for 40 months after being stopped in Manor Road, Hayling Island, on December 17 last year.

A test showed she had 110 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than three times the 35mg limit.

Magistrates handed her a community order with a drink-impaired drivers programme.

She must also complete 10 days of rehabilitation activities and pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.
