A WOMAN caught driving while four times the legal alcohol limit has been ordered to stay in at night.

Rebecca Snell, 42, of Langdale Avenue, Portsmouth, admitted committing the offence in Beaconsfield Avenue, Portsmouth, on April 23.

A test revealed her breath contained 159 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres – four times the 35mg legal limit.

She was given a six-month curfew. She must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £600 costs and was banned from driving for 16 months by city magistrates.
