A DRINK-DRIVER caught while twice the legal alcohol limit has been banned from the roads.

Martin Page, 36, of Royal Way, Waterlooville, admitted committing the offence while driving a BMW in the same street on June 7.

A test revealed his breath contained 80 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.

The legal limit is 35mcg.

Page was fined £550 and banned from driving for three years by Fareham magistrates. He was told to pay a £55 victim surcharge and £250 costs.
