MOTORIST Alan Treweek was caught driving while more than twice the legal alcohol limit.

Treweek admitted driving a Volkswagen Polo in Brook Lane, Park Gate, after drinking too much on January 19.

A test revealed the 48-year-old’s breath contained 81 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 35mg.

Treweek, of Badgers Close, Park Gate, was fined £200 and told to pay £15 to a fund for crime victims and £50 costs by Fareham magistrates.

He was banned from driving for 17 months.
