A WOMAN who failed to report an accident has been banned from the roads for dangerous driving.

Saffron Bennett, from Nightingale Road, Southsea, was driving a Peugeot 306 in Canoe Lake car park, Southsea Esplanade, when it crashed.

The 21-year-old pleaded guilty to charges of dangerous driving, driving the car without insurance and failing to report an accident.

Bennett was ordered not to leave her home between 7pm and 7am on Fridays and Saturdays for six weeks.

Portsmouth magistrates ordered her to pay £85 in court costs and she was banned from driving for 15 months.
