MAGISTRATES have fined a woman for using a mobile phone while driving.

Melanie Maddocks, 50, of Spicewood, Fareham, had denied committing the offence while driving a Volkswagen Polo in West Street, Fareham.

But she was found guilty by Fareham magistrates and fined £60.

Three penalty points were added to Maddocks’ driving licence.

She must also pay £15 to crime victims and £50 costs.
