Driver gets 10 points for being over limit

A MAN has been given 10 points on his licence for being in charge of a car while over the limit.

Richard Baker, 41, of Bevan Road, Waterlooville, was found guilty at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

He was caught at the Ship & Bell hotel car park in London Road, Horndean, on April 7.

A test revealed he had 42 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than the 35mg legal limit.

He was fined £185 with 10 points imposed on his driving licence.

He must pay a £20 victim fee and £200 costs.
