DRIVER Christopher Grist has been banned from getting behind the wheel for failing to do a breath test.

The 23-year-old, of Mumby Road, Gosport, admitted committing the offence at Gosport police station on April 16.

Grist also admitted driving a Ford Fiesta in Howe Road, Rowner, without insurance on the same day.

He was banned from driving for a year, fined £300, and told to pay £85 in court costs and £15 into a fund for victims of crime by Fareham magistrates.

Grist also admitted driving the car otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
