A MOTORIST who was caught driving without any insurance has been told to pay £680.

Steven Shilling was stopped by the police as he drove a Peugeot Partner van in Tangier Road, Copnor.

The 45-year-old was summoned to Fareham Magistrates Court but he did not attend the hearing.

The magistrates found him guilty in his absence.

Shilling, of Corbett Road, Waterlooville, will have six points added to his licence.
