A MOTORIST was caught driving without a valid licence or insurance.

Elliott Kite committed the offences while driving a Vauxhall Corsa in Goldsmith Avenue, Southsea.

The 25-year-old, from Wisborough Road, Southsea, was fined £200.

He was ordered to pay £15 to a fund for victims of crime and £85 in costs to Hampshire Police Authority, which holds the purse strings for policing in our area.

Fareham magistrates added three penalty points to Kite’s driving licence.

The case against Kite was found proved by magistrates in his absence.
