PENSIONER Terence Lee has been fined after he crashed into the open door of a parked car.

The 73-year-old was driving his Nissan Primera on the forecourt of Fairway Garage in West Street, Portchester, when he hit the car door, injuring the driver. Lee, of Cooper Grove, Fareham, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention when the case was heard at Fareham Magistrates’ Court.

He was fined £250 with £80 in costs and had five points added to his licence.
