The 31-year-old pleaded guilty to driving a Honda Accord in Stirling Street, Portsmouth, after drinking too much on May 27.

A test revealed Scott’s breath contained 68 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.

The legal alcohol limit is 35mg.

Scott, of Cedar Drive, Chichester, was fined £350 by Portsmouth magistrates.

He must pay £15 into a fund for victims of crime and £85 in court costs.
