A MAN who was caught driving without insurance has been fined.

Portsmouth Magistrates ordered Mohamed Kamara, 22, to pay £300 after he pleaded guilty to driving without proper insurance on Eagle Road, in Waterlooville.

Kamara, of Shenley Road, London, was stopped on January 16 this year and also received six points on his licence.

Out of a total fine of £300, he was instructed to pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
