A thief has been ordered to get treatment for his drug addiction.

Scott Carrier admitted stealing meat worth £96.21 from Morrisons in Walpole Road, Gosport.

The 26-year-old, of Inverness Road, Gosport, also pleaded guilty to stealing £10.87 of meat from the Co-op in Carisbrooke Road, Gosport, on December 16 and Gammon joints from the Gregson Avenue Co-op in Gosport on November 30

Carrier also admitted using threatening behaviour towards Jeff Patrick in Carisbrooke Road, Gosport, on December 16.

Fareham magistrates gave him a 12-month community order.
