DRUG user Adam Peacock has admitted stealing jewellery and other goods.

The 31-year-old of Quay Street, Fareham, admitted stealing the jewellery, DVDs and games from a woman in Fareham between January 20 and February 7.

He was given a 12-week suspended sentence, put under supervision and told to have three months of treatment for drug dependence.

Fareham magistrates, who ordered Peacock to pay £1,500 compensation, said his crime was a ‘serious breach of trust’.
