A MAN must pay £15 for having amphetamine.

Darren Weir, 49, of Kite Close, Waterlooville, admitted possessing a quantity of amphetamine, a class B drug.

He appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court where he was handed a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victim fee. The drugs will be destroyed.

Weir also admitted breaching a conditional discharge for a previous theft.
