Elderly teacher due in court accused of child sex offences – REGIONAL

A retired teacher is due in court accused of committing child sex offences in the 1960s. 

Hubert Francis Hallman, 82, of Highfield Lane, St Albans, Hertfordshire, will face four charges of indecent assault on a boy under the age of 16 at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on December 20, following a summons issued by post.

Mr Hallman was a teacher at Stroud School in Romsey at the time of the alleged offences in the 1960s.

Police would encourage anyone who has been a victim of this type of abuse to contact police on 101 where you can speak with an officer in confidence.
