TWO men robbed an elderly woman of jewellery after breaking into her home.

Police are seeking witnesses following the burglary in Brighton Avenue, Gosport, on Tuesday, July 5.

The 71-year-old woman was woken by noise coming from her lounge at about 3.40am.

She went into the room and saw two men who then ran from the house.

They took a black leather handbag, a pink Samsung mobile phone, a red leather purse, £45 in cash, bank cards, a jewellery box and more than 20 items of jewellery.
