A GAMES console, games and cameras are amongst items which were stolen from a home in Sarisbury.

Police are now seeking witnesses to the burglary in Brook Lane on Tuesday some time between 10.30am and 3.35pm.

Police believe the thief entered the property through an unlocked kitchen door, or through open windows at the front of the property.

Various electrical items were stolen including a HP notebook, worth around £800, a Sony PlayStation and games, two cameras and a pair of Steiner Spyhawk binoculars.

Detective Constable Sandra Peet, who is investigating the incident, said: ‘I would be very keen to hear from anyone who either witnessed the burglary or saw anybody acting suspiciously in the area.’

Police have advised residents to securely lock all doors and windows when leaving the house.
