A SAFE was stolen from a snooker club in Southsea and police have appealed for witnesses.

Two men broke into Cueball Snooker Club, in Goldsmith Avenue, between 12.20am and 12.50am on October 5.

They removed the safe, which was empty, and carried it to a waiting Ford Focus driven by a third man.

Police released details of the break-in, which caused considerable damage, yesterday.

Anyone with information should call police on 101.
