A MAN and his family were chased through the streets after an argument outside McDonald’s.

Police have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses after a 45-year-old man and his family were chased through Havant town centre by a group of teenagers.

It followed an altercation outside McDonald’s, in West Street, at around 7pm on Monday.

The man broke his leg while he was being chased near Market Parade.

No-one else was seriously hurt in the incident.

A shopkeeper in Market Parade said there several police cars in the town centre following the incident.

A police spokesman said: ‘If you know who any of the teenagers who may have been involved were please call 101 quoting 44160049378.’
