A MAN has been interviewed over a racially-aggravated public order offence.

It comes after police appealed for witnesses following abuse of a Barnet player at a Pompey game at Fratton Park on September 12.

Hampshire police confirmed a 46-year-old man from Havant was interviewed by police.

He has now been reported for summons and the CPS will decide if he faces charges.

A second man, from Cowplain, has been spoken to but will not face charges.
