POLICE are hunting thieves who stole a mountain bike in a burglary.

The Cube bike was stolen from a home in Gosport Road shortly before 8pm last Tuesday.

Two men were seen acting suspiciously at Fareham Railway station that evening. The bike was later recovered in the area.

PC Tara Magnus said: ‘Were you in the area of Gosport Road near the footbridge or at Fareham railway station between 7.45pm and 8.15pm last Tuesday?

‘This is a busy area and there would have been many passers-by. Did you see anyone acting suspiciously or riding a white Cube mountain bike towards the railway station?’ One of the suspects is tall and skinny, in his early 20s with black, wavy, short hair.

Call PC Magnus on 101.
