Fareham drink-driver, 23, ordered to do 80 hours of work

A DRINK-DRIVER has been ordered to do 80 hours of unpaid work.

Christopher Mackin, 23, of Bedford Drive, Fareham, admitted drink-driving in Hunts Pond Farm, Fareham, on June 19.

He was caught driving a Ford Transit.

A test revealed he had 91 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than the 35mg legal limit.

Fareham magistrates banned him from driving for 24 months.

He must pay an £85 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

Mackin also admitted failing to stop but received no separate penalty.
