MOTORIST Wesley Young was caught while almost twice the drink-driving limit.

Young, from Wicor Mill Lane, Fareham, admitted driving a Nissan Micra in Twyford Road, Stamshaw, Portsmouth, after drinking too much.

A test revealed the 29-year-old’s blood contained 152 milligrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres – almost twice the legal alcohol limit of 80mg.

Young was fined £100 and told to pay £85 costs and £15 to a fund for crime victims.

Portsmouth magistrates banned him from driving for 16 months.
