FAREHAM magistrates have fined a drink-driver caught behind the wheel while more than twice the legal alcohol limit.

Jonathan Lettice, 48, of Carnarvon Road, Gosport, was caught driving a Toyota Yaris in Rowner Road, Gosport, on November 25. A test revealed his blood contained 161mg of blood per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 80mg.

He admitted drink-driving and was banned from driving for 16 months.

Lettice was also fined £500, and told to pay £85 costs and £15 into a victims’ fund.
