A MOTORIST whose car hit a motorbike has been fined for driving without due care and attention.

Joshua Watson pleaded guilty to committing the crime while driving a Mercedes that collided with a motorbike in London Road, Cosham, on April 13.

The 22-year-old, from Nicholas Crescent, Fareham, was fined £100 and told to pay £15 into a fund for victims of crime by Portsmouth magistrates.

Watson was also ordered to pay £85 in court costs.

Five penalty points were added to his driving licence.
