MEAT thief Luke Blythe has been given a conditional discharge.

Blythe admitted stealing meat worth £25.79 from the Co-op in Gudge Heath Lane, Fareham, on November 19.

The 24-year-old, of Catisfield Lane, Fareham, was given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £30 costs by Fareham magistrates. He admitted failing to answer bail on November 30. No separate penalty was imposed.
