WINE thief Jamie Rogers has been ordered to pay compensation.

The 21-year-old, of Sunlight Gardens, Fareham, admitted stealing two bottles of wine from The Local shop in Gladys Avenue, North End, Portsmouth on March 14.

Rogers was given a curfew stating that he must not leave his home between noon and midnight for 30 days by Portsmouth magistrates.

He was also told to pay £7.98 in compensation to the store.
