MAGISTRATES have fined a man for using a mobile phone while driving.

Alireza Jaffer pleaded guilty to committing the crime while driving a Seat Leon in Clifton Street, Fratton, on January 11.

The 27-year-old, from Potters Avenue, Fareham, was fined £60 by Fareham magistrates.

He was also told to pay £15 to a fund for crime victims.

Three penalty points were added to his driving licence.
