MOTORIST Ronald Beagley has been fined for driving without due care and attention.

The 61-year-old pleaded guilty to committing the offence while driving a Jaguar XJS on the A272 at West Meon on New Year’s Eve.

Beagley, from St Michael’s Grove, Fareham, was fined £500 by Fareham magistrates.

He was also told to pay £85 in court costs and £15 into a fund for victims of crime.

Magistrates ordered that nine penalty points should be added to his driving licence.
