DRINK-DRIVER Sharon Paynter has been banned from the roads.

Paynter had denied driving a Ford Ka in Bishopsfield Road, Fareham, after drinking too much on September 23.

But she was found guilty by Fareham magistrates after a test revealed she was over the limit.

Paynter’s breath contained 52 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.

The legal limit is 35mg.

The 48-year-old, from Bishopsfield Road, Fareham, was banned from driving for a year and told to pay £1,265 in a fine and costs.
