THIEF Jacqualine James has been told to stay in at night.

James, from Gibraltar Close, Fareham, pleaded guilty to stealing clothes from Peacocks at Cremer Mall, Fareham, on March 19 while subject to a conditional discharge.

The 46-year-old was sentenced to 28 days in jail suspended for six months by Fareham magistrates.

James was ordered not to leave her home between 7pm and 7am each day for two months.

The curfew is to be monitored with an electronic tag.
