STOLEN agricultural equipment was recovered by police when they arrested a man and searched his home.

Police executed a stolen goods warrant on Friday at an address in Halnaker, near Chichester, where, following a search, a quantity of stolen property was found.

A 37-year old man was arrested on suspicion of several burglaries in the Chichester district, relating to thefts of agricultural equipment.

He was later released on police bail until Wednesday, July 22 while enquiries continue.

Police are working to identify the owners of the items that were recovered.
