A TRACTOR driver is set to appear at crown court accused of causing the death of a Portsmouth welder.

Gary Gosnell, 27, is due to appear at Chichester Crown Court on August 1 in connection with the death of 70-year-old Mick Daish.

Mr Daish, of Compton Road, Hilsea, was driving through Sidlesham when bales of hay fell on to his car from a trailer that was being towed by a tractor. Gosnell, of Blackberry Lane, Selsey has already pleaded not guilty to causing death by dangerous driving.
