THE father of missing Jason Gates, who vanished during a break in the Scottish Highlands, says his family is growing increasingly concerned for his safety.

Malcolm Gates says Scottish police have found the 36-year-old’s wallet containing his bank cards as well as his clothes and jackets he was spotted wearing in separate locations.

Mr Gates says he is travelling up next weekend to help in the search for his son, who is from Bedhampton.

Mr Gates said: ‘We want him back so we can help him.

‘It’s just totally out of character for him to disappear like this.’

Anyone with information should call police on 101 and ask for Police Scotland.
