AN urgent appeal has been made to find a woman missing for three days.

Heather Bater, 54, from Southsea, was seen by her partner at around 3.30pm on Saturday.

Police say there was a more recent sighting in The Thicket area of Southsea on Sunday when her condition at that time led a member of the public to help her to her feet.

Ms Bater is white, 5ft 4in, with brown eyes and long brown hair. She is heavy built and, at the time, was wearing a black waist-length jacket with a grey fur trim, purple ankle-length maxi skirt, black knee-high leather boots and may have been wearing glasses. She was carrying a brown leather handbag.
