A HOMELESS man who stole a pasta meal and a drink has been told to pay £65.

Philip Palmer was caught leaving Morrisons, in Walpole Lane, Gosport, with £3.50 worth of goods.

The 26-year-old, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to theft when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.
