FOUR more people have been charged in connection with the robbery of a jewellery shop.

It follows an investigation after the robbery of Picketts & Pursers in Rams Walk, Petersfield, on January 16.

Masked robbers stormed into the shop and a police car was hit as offenders escaped.

Four men have been charged with robbery: Lee Guyett, 30, of Oakdale, Bracknell, Berkshire; Aaron Kernot, 33, of Wayland Close, Bracknell; James Mepham, 31, of Nightingale Crescent, Bracknell; and Jimmy Stevens, 30, of Winchester Road, Ash, near Aldershot.

Stevens was also charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

The men have been remanded in custody and will appear at Winchester Crown Court at a later date.

William Goliath Thompson, 40, of Yorktown Road, Sandhurst, was previously charged with robbery. A 46-year-old woman from Sandhurst is on police bail after being arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery.
