FOUR people have been fined for littering in Portsmouth.

Reece Everett, of Kipling Avenue, Brighton, admitted dropping food packaging labels in Isambard Brunel Road on April 9. He was fined £75 and told to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £50 costs.

Alistair Matchett, of Billstillwell Court, Kara McNaughton, of Renny Road, and Dean Jackman, of Arundel Street, Portsmouth, each admitted dropping a cigarette butt in the street.

Matchett, who was caught out in Cosham High Street on June 2, was fined £100 and told to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £50 costs.

McNaughton, who was caught in Isambard Brunel Road on April 9, and Jackman who dropped a cigarette butt in Commercial Road on April 16, were each fined £100 and told to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £50 costs by Portsmouth magistrates.
