Front door set on fire in arson attack – REGIONAL

The front door of a house was set on fire in an arson attack in Hampshire. 

The blaze happened at a home on 31 October in Kipling Road, Alton, at around 5am.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fire, which is being treated as arson, and are keen to identify anyone who saw what happened or anyone acting suspiciously in the area at this time.

PC Thomas Stewart said: ‘We believe this fire was set deliberately and would like to find out how and who was responsible.

‘We are keen to find out if anyone nearby has CCTV which covers this area, or the surrounding areas, and would also like to hear from anyone who drove through this area around the time that may have caught something on dashcam.
