FRIENDS of Karl Law gathered together at a race night to raise money to keep the search for the missing Fareham man in Prague going.

So far more than £7,000 has been donated to pay for flights and accommodation for the half-a-dozen-strong team of family and friends in the Czech capital.

Dave Roseby, the landlord of The Hoeford Inn, in Gosport Road, Fareham, put on a race night last night to add to the total.

Around a dozen people took part in the event at one of Mr Law’s local pubs.

Old friends Jason Hodgson and Kerri Regan joined in.

Mr Hodgson, 43, said: ‘We’ve been to every event.

‘We can’t just sit at home, we have to do our bit.’

And Miss Regan, who has known Mr Law for more than 20 years, said: ‘My sister has just come back from Prague, helping the search for Karl.

‘Craig, his brother, will never give up. They are very, very close.

‘Their mum, Sue is absolutely devastated.

‘At the moment she doesn’t have either of her boys.

‘She is desperately worried about Karl and worried about Craig too. She wants both her boys back home.’

More flyers featuring Mr Law are being taken over to Prague. There are posters on flights to the city from the UK.
