TWO vehicles were broken into in Portsmouth at the weekend.

On Sunday evening, a Mini in Langstone Road and a Peugeot in Lichfield Road were both targeted.

A spokesman from Hampshire police said: ‘We received a report that shortly after 9pm on Sunday November 26 a group of people were causing damage to cars in Portsmouth.

‘The incident was reported to have occurred in the Langstone Road, Lichfield Road and Chasewater Avenue areas.

‘Officers attended and searched the surrounding area but could not find the group, and found that one vehicle had suffered damage to the wing mirror.’
