POLICE are investigating an arson attack after a mobile home and a shed went up in flames at a caravan park.

There were fears of explosion as firefighters tackled the blaze because three propane cylinders were caught up in the fire.

The fire broke out about 1.30am yesterday at the caravan park in Shripney Road, Bognor.

Firefighters spent an hour-and-a-half tackling the blaze.

The gas cylinders needed to be cooled to make the scene safe.
