POLICE arrested a schoolgirl after a fight outside a pub.

A disturbance began at 11.50pm on Friday, outside Mead End Pub, Mead End Road, Denmead.

A group of young people, mostly girls, started arguing and a fight broke out. Two of them suffered minor injuries.

PC Nick Grainger, from Waterlooville police, said: ‘It appears that all of the members of this group were known to each other.

‘We are trying to establish exactly what happened and would ask anyone with information to contact police.’

A 15-year-old girl from Waterlooville has been arrested on suspicion of assault. She has been bailed until November 18.
